At the age of 18, Paul stood at a crossroads: a graduate of what is considered the lowest track in Germany's tiered educational system and employed as a supermarket cashier. It was then that he took the first steps on a transformative path to his personal flourishment. He became his own first client. This journey set the stage for his life's work.

Over the past seven years, Paul has solidified his reputation as a distinguished senior coach, specializing in guiding ambitious individuals motivated by a desire for significant impact. From visionary company founders to influential researchers and esteemed executives, the reports are unanimous: Paul's coaching has been a game-changer, setting them on trajectories of unprecedented professional and personal flourishment.

Three years ago, he took up a new challenge to deepen his expertise by pursuing a Ph.D. program in Behavioral Science and Communications at the prestigious London School of Economics. His research culminates in a groundbreaking concept of Behaviour Change Literacy—a new concept he developed, measured, and validated inspired by his coaching practice.

Two years ago, he founded the Flourishing Humanity Corporation (FHC) with the aim of scaling the impact of his coaching and scientific expertise and pushing himself again. FHC is pioneering new approaches to make flourishing more effective, enjoyable, and rooted in data. The initiatives include two cutting-edge apps—Scientific Self-Discovery and Tenacious Tracker—that embody these principles. This venture has further elevated his expertise, enriching it with invaluable leadership and product development insights.

Paul has developed a particular interest in removing barriers to optimal productivity, well-being, character/culture, and non-technical skills (e.g., leadership) for individuals and organizations working on AI safety.

Paul began his career as a consultant for major for-profit organisations (including companies from the DAX 30 like Deutsche Telekom) and major non-profit organisations (including Save The Children or ChildHope).
